While the city's motels weren't overflowing with guests - many had decided to shift just for a change of scenery while others were visiting to re-establish physical connections with family.
The city's cellar doors also re-opened, with restrictions, as people took the chance to enjoy a wine tasting experience.
On Saturday, Yarran Wines' enjoyed a successful Saturday.
"For what we're set up to do, we're more than happy with the response," Lorraine Brewer from the winery said.

Mrs Brewer said Saturday's weather really delivered the goods for people enjoying a wine on the lawn with their cheeseboards.

Among the people relishing to get back out on the road again are members of the New Age Tribe - a social club of New Age Caravan owners - which have arrived in Griffith.
Lyndel and Bryran Crow are from Victoria and will be joined by other members from NSW as they see what the city has to offer.
They're staying for a few nights at the Showground Caravan Park as they research towns that could host larger gatherings of their club.
"It's our first time in Griffith, we'll probably head on to Bourke next," Mr Crow said.
"A lot of people have seen the east cost, but haven't seen inland Australia," he said.
While they only just arrived after the long weekend, they'll be spending time around the city's venues and tourism attractions as they prepare for future club events.
The New Age Tribe is set to host their largest gathering in Henty next year, after it was pushed back because of COVID-19 restrictions. It will attract over 130 members.
"We had schools and footy clubs doing catering at Henty, and planned a working bee for the preschool," Mr Crow said.
"Don't just want to do something for us, but want to give back tot he community."
Mr Crow said members might take two weeks to get to the meet-up but work their way home over two months stopping in towns and villages along the way.
