It's a huge step forward for the area as it means we're closer to 'normal'.
There's been plenty of change as people cope with the pandemic - including here at The Area News and there is still someone working to bring you the news from Griffith.
The pandemic also made for big changes for one of our annual traditions, but it proved that we haven't forgotten about the service and sacrifice of those first Anzacs on the shores of Gallipoli.
Some residents lit up the dawn with their candles, some took to hanging flags in their window or decorating a fence and 2MIA took the service to the airwaves.
While Anzac Day has passed for another year we'll keeping chasing down what's happening around Griffith and if there's something you think we should cover, contact the editor Declan Rurenga on 0400 422 014.
Until next time.
