The suspension period begins on Wednesday and concludes on Tuesday, April 14.
Yoogali SC was set to start their competitive season this weekend with their third-round Capital Football FFA Cup qualifying clash with O'Connor Knights at home on Saturday and will now be postponed to be played at a later date.
The Capital NPL Youth competition which Griffith FC are apart of will also be put on hold after the season began just two weeks ago.
It's unknown when competitions will proceed if the FFA gives the all-clear on April 14, considering players would not have trained in almost a month.
"We haven't considered that at the moment, we're just considering apply the guiding principles provided by the FFA," Capital Football chief executive Phil Brown said.
"We will look at competition structures and formats once we get a better understanding of the climate, health advice and recommendations that come from the FFA as we approach April 14."
Meanwhile, Football's Wagga's competitions were due to begin on the first weekend of April, which means the first two rounds will be affected.
With the current end date of the suspension period, Griffith and District Football Association believe they would be unaffected.
