Griffith FC enjoyed a strong weekend against Canberra Olympic in the second round of the National Premier League Youth competition on Saturday at Ted Scobie Oval.

The under 13s played their first game of the season after last week's forfeit and were able to hit the ground running against Olympic.
Ali Alizada and Dane O'Connor scored first half doubles to lead 4-0 at the break before Bethany Piva, James Dal Broi and Sebastian Patane found the back of the net in the second half to pick up a 7-1 victory.
After sharing the points in their first game of the season the under 14s once again finished with a draw against Olympic.
James Naseby and Luca Valensisi scored in the first half to see the Griffith side leading 2-1 at the break.
Naseby scored a second just after the break before Bailey Morrissey gave the Griffith side a two goal lead with 10 minutes remaining.
The Olympic side surged back with two goals in the final five minutes to draw level at 4-4.
The under 16s side finished the weekend with a strong 5-0 win over the Canberra side.
Dominic Nardi scored the sole goal of the first half before Connor Dal Broi scored a second half double and a goal each to Mohammad Fayazi and Reuben Donadel wrapped up the win.
