Mark Townsend, 70 nett, won A Grade - firing 78 off the stick, 40 out and 38 home - taking the countback over Neil Mahaffey, 70 nett - doing the opposite, 38 out and 41 in and nailing birdies on the 7th and 15th.
David Kidd, 72 nett, was best in B Grade, shooting 87, on a countback over Rob Trembath, 72 nett, 86 off the stick on a countback over James Browne and Steve Hedba.
The day's best score, 69 nett, was recorded by C Grade winner John Gavin and equalled by Damon Cafe, 69 nett, losing on a countback. He birdied the 2nd and 11th.
Pro pins were won by Wallace Trembath and Colin Barby. Par Threes: 4th Chris Gill, 7th Jason Magoci, 11th Alan LeBroque, 16th Max Turner. Vouchers to 75 nett.
The first round draw for the Caltex Match Play - which must be completed by Saturday, March 21 - includes David Kidd v Ryan Harrison; Dom Guglielmino v Gerry Cox; Paul Connell v Gary Hartnett; Bryan Salvestro v Tony Catanzariti.
A single stableford was played on Sunday, with the Pat and Col Murdoch St Patrick's Day Trophy up for grabs.
The winner was Tom Wright, who also won C Grade, carding 37 points from Tom Watson, 33 points.
Steve Matheson, 34 points, won A Grade from Andrew Noad, 33 points on a countback over Keiron Edwards and Brett Angel.
Geoff Cotterill, 34 points, was best in B Grade, winning on a countback over Brendon Peters. Xavier Boucher won the 7th pin, Andrew Noad 11th. Vouchers to 31 points.
It's all systems go for the Pro Am on Monday, March 23, with 80 professionals in the field.
The course will be closed on Sunday and Monday to all social play. Spectators are welcome, no entry fee.
The course will also be closed for renovations on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, March 24, 25 and 26, reopening on Friday, March 27.
The AGM is only four weeks away; nominations for the board must be posted one day prior.

Veterans played a two-grade single stableford last Thursday,
Mick Catanzariti, 43 points, won 0-20 Grade over Rob Trembath, 35 points.
Len Sexton, 36 points, was best in 20-45 Grade from Susan Tyrell, 35 points. Wal Hood won the 4th pin, Tony McBride 8th, Peter Henderson 15th. Vouchers won by John Gale, Paul Woodland, Don Catanzariti, Gerry Cox.
This week's event is a single stableford; next week's event has been transferred to Friday, March 27.
A two-grade single stableford was played last Wednesday. Alf Franchi, 39 points, won 0-19 Grade ahead of Terry Bennett, 34 points.
Geoff Smith, 33 points, was best in 20-54 Grade from Ray Mead, 32 points.
Don Catanzariti won the 7th pin. Vouchers to 30 points.
