It was a fast opening with Marchiori opening the scoring through Damien Giason getting over before Jonathan Morris drew Mitch Cooper Plumbing level after a run from dummy half from Danny Graham.
Two straight tries to Marchiori Construction side saw them start to run away with the game as Matt Kenny found his way over before Brendan Giason was able to spot a hole in the middle of the Mitch Cooper Plumbing defence to run the length of the field and give his side a 3-1 lead.
James Fallon reduced the margin between the two sides to a single try when he was found in the open with a stretch pass however their success was short-lived with Brendan Giason and Mick Duncan combining to send Duncan over and restoring Marchiori's two-try lead.
Bucky Gautusa got over for the Mitch Cooper Plumbing side just before half time to see the two sides separated by a single try at the break.
The sides traded tries in the second half with Damien Giason and Michael DiPaoli scoring for Marchiori while for Mitch Cooper, Morris was able to score his second while Glenn Punch also got over to make it 6-5 with just under a minute remaining.
Any hopes of a comeback in the final sixty seconds was ruled out with young Christian Callcut getting over in the corner on the full-time siren to give Marchiori Construction a 7-5 win.
In the lower grades, the game of the night went to MIA Plumbing who overcame a tough Industrial Power side 8-7 in division three.
