In semi-finals to be played this week, Luke De Valentin and Mitch Howard - who scored a runaway 8/6 win over John and Jarrod Gale - will be up against Craig Barrington and Mark Townsend, who easily accounted for Robin Salvestro and Tony Catanzariti 6/5.
In the other semi, Paul Jones and Lance Gilbert scraped in over Darren Forrester and Phil DeMamiel, 1 up.
They will be up against Paul Plunket and Tony Anderson, who won a close contest with Jason Magoci and Terry Bennett, also 1 up.
Saturday's members event was a single stroke with 60 players.
Neil Mahaffey, 69 nett, won A GRade, firing 77 off the stick and draining birdies on the 4th and 8th.
Adrian Smith, 73 nett, was second, shooting 82. Shannon Windle, 65 nett, easily won B Grade with 83 off the stick - nailing a birdie on the 8th - from David Kidd, 70 nett, 85 scratch.
Ray Barrington, 68 nett, won C Grade after a round of 98, from Mark Webb, 71 nett. Luke Congdon and Jack Trimboli won the pro pins.
Par threes: 4th David Kidd, 7th Paul Josling, 11th Luke Congdon, 16th Tony Leadbeatter. Vouchers to 76 nett.
A two-grade single stableford was played on Sunday.
Tony Dillon, 39 points, won 0-18 grade from Josh Stapleton, 34 points.
Andrew Oates, 36 points, was best in 19-45 grade. Derek Langford, 34 points, was runner-up. Shane Gaffey won the 7th pin, Tuiru Phillip the 11th. Vouchers to 31 points.
The club is still seeking a parent to take up the position of junior promotions officer.
Today's event is a single stableford, Saturday will be a single stroke for the March monthly medal, followed by a medley single stableford on Sunday.
The veterans played a two-grade single stableford last Thursday.
Jim Dickie, 38 points, won 0-20 grade. John Bortolazzo, 35 points, was second.
Geoff Smith, 37 points, was best in 21-48 grade over John Evans, 36 points.
Roy Calabria won the 7th pin, John F. Gale 11th. Tony McBride, Skeet Milne, Ken Alpen, Gerry Cox won vouchers.
Veterans are advised that the AGM will be held on Thursday, March 12 after golf. Nomination forms are on the veterans noticeboard.
Another single stableford will be played next week.
A two-grade single stableford was played last Wednesday. Gerry Cox, 40 points, won 0-18 grade from Jeff Wiscombe, 35 points. Graeme Gifford, 32 points, won 19-45 grade on a countback from Paul Woodland, 32 points.
Steve Panazzolo won the 7th pin, Tony Catanzariti 15th. Vouchers to 30 points.
