The sides are currently locked on 33 points after 13 rounds of the first-grade competition so the head-to-head results between the two teams could prove crucial to deciding who takes the final spot heading into finals with seven regular-season rounds remaining.
In the two previous meetings between the two sides Exies have taken the points and a win this weekend would give them a great chance of holding on to the fourth place.
The Panthers will be coming into the game wanting to put the disappointing performance against the Coro Cougars behind them as they look to rediscover the form that saw them on a two-match win streak either side of the festive break. Leagues will be hoping Ryan Greenaway will be able to rediscover his form shown in the two wins his team picked up.
Meanwhile, for the Eagles, it has been three games without a win, with their last victory coming in the previous match against the Panthers which saw them pick up an outright win and they will be coming into the game off the back of the bye last weekend.
Exies will most likely still be without the services of young wicketkeeper Hayden Forner who is still nursing a thumb injury.
