Corey Loftus and Michael Mitchell will look to build on their young side as they look to improve on their ninth-place finish in 2019.
Mitchell will return to the Sharks after a couple of seasons playing for the Griffith Black and Whites and was apart of the 2016 premiership-winning side alongside Loftus.
Loftus is looking forward to the challenge of leading the side alongside Mitchell.
"I'm pretty excited about it actually," he said.
"There is a bit of experience between us and really looking forward to coaching with Michael."
Loftus admitted this year would be a building one after a tough 2019 season which saw the side go through the season without a win.
"This year is all about building and moving forward," he said.
"The side is looking alright at the moment, and if we can get the side together that we have in mind, we should be competitive.
"We haven't signed anyone as of yet, but we are looking at a couple of blokes who were pretty keen."
There will be one noticeable absentee from the Sharks line-up for the 2019 season with last year's coach Sterling Ross heading to Yanco-Wamoon.
Loftus is excited about the juniors who will be making the step into the first-grade side throughout the season.
"We have a heap of good youngsters around the club," he said.
"Hopefully we are able to blood some of the younger boys in and help to get the club back where it was."
While still a long way down the track there was one thing Loftus would love to see come the end of his first season in charge.
"If we were able to make finals that would be perfect for us," he said. "It would be a huge step for us in getting the club heading in the right direction."
The Sharks are trying to line up a match against Condobolin ahead of their first major assignment for the 2020 season which will be the West Wyalong Knockout on February 28 and 29.
The TLU side will get their Group 20 campaign underway when they take on defending champions DPC away from home on April 5.
