Player safety ultimately ruled the decision, as RCS did not want to see anyone injured or hurt, especially during the Christmas season.
Since Wednesday, a steady number of various sporting codes have been cancelling games due to high ongoing temperatures.
Please remember to stay cool, drink plenty of fluids and protect yourself from the sun.
