Mrs Napoli has been working with the NDIS since it was first introduced, and credits it as a fantastic" program, bringing in millions of dollars to those in need in the community, as well as creating a diverse range of job opportunities for locals.
"While there are still some areas that need improvement, I am pleased to see the way it's taken shape."
Taking this role with both arms wide open, she hopes to be a voice for unpaid carers, showing her passion to advocate for carers' rights and making sure their hard work gets recognised.
Ms Napoli was chosen because of her leadership roles in the community, having spent over 15 years as a councillor and deputy mayor at Griffith City Council, as well as being an executive member of the NSW Australia Local Government Women's Association.
