Griffith residents are being warned to be careful, with air quality levels being impacted by fires burning across the state.

No-one could be mistaken for worrying Griffith was next in line for a fire battle, with the smoke clouding the skies and polluting airways.
MIA Rural Fire Service (RFS) and Griffith Fire Station 311 reassures residents there are no fires burning nearby which are blanketing the area in smoke.
Instead, it is travelling across from over 80 fires burning across NSW, so while there is smoke, there is no fire here.
"The smoke we are experiencing in Griffith is coming from fires in other parts of the state," a Griffith Fire and Rescue spokesperson said.

People with existing lung and heart conditions like asthma, emphysema and angina should avoid outdoor activity and follow your disease management plan.
They advise the smoke should start to clear with a wind change later on Monday evening.
Both groups ask people to only call 000 in the event of a fire burning, or ion the event of an emergency.
