Hanwood batsmen set the scene with a score of 4/136 (ave 34) and the Eagles nearly matched them with a score of 3/86 (ave 28.7). Hanwood's big scorers were Christian Dall'Est with 30, Harry Morel 28, Luke Robinson 24 and Tyler Minato 21.
Bhavya Chaudhari bowled well to finish with 3/37. The Eagles batting relied on Jaxsin Brown who made 21 and Angelo Licastro 18. Luke Robinson put in a good all round performance taking 2/17.
Bowlers got the upper hand in Diggers clash with Exies. Diggers innings finished at 5/72 (ave 11.3). Major contributions came from Connor Dickson 14, Ajay Chilby 13 and Connor Moore 12.
The best of the Exies bowlers was Yash Rathi who managed 3/14. Exies lost seven wickets in making 50 runs, Ted Files was their top scorer with 13 and Yash Rathi added 11.
Ajay Chilby did some damage with the ball, taking 3/8. Connor Moore also put in a good spell to pick up 2/8.
Coro batsmen put on a powerful display to hit up 5/135 against Leagues Club. Jai Kenny was in outstanding form hitting 47 runs in his stay at the crease. Javier Burke made 21, Ryan Andrighetto 18 and Raj Brar 17 and Cormac Skaliotis 17.
Jordon Williams with 1/7 and Violet Leach 1/10 were the best of the Leagues Club bowlers. Jordon Williams made a big effort to get his team in the game with the innings of 26 and with a little help from Harry Furner who made 16, Leagues reached 10/96.
The highlight of the Coro bowling was Javier Bruce's hattrick and bowling figures of 4/7. Jai Kenny was always a threat, taking 3/11 and Cormac Skaliotis took 2/15.
Javier Bruce takes out this week's award for his 21 runs and 4/7 including a hattrick for Coro.
Woolies Master Blaster (Junior Binks/Tucker)
The Thunder continued on their winning way with a big win over the Strikers. Their imposing score of 5/147 was the result of some big innings from Will Ruggeri, 37 runs, Lachlan Webb 21, Kye Campbell 20 and Charlie Morel 19. Jack Charles was the Strikers most successful bowler picking up two wickets.
The Strikers replied with 11/70 with their major contributors being Isaac Hill 13, Miles Condon 13 and Owen Condon 11. Will Ruggeri topped off a good day with a three wicket haul. Jim Prendergast chipped in with two wickets.
The Stars scored a solid win over the Heat, hitting up 8/103 and claiming 16 Heat wickets for 89. Luke Ramsey led the way for the Stars with 25 runs and Lachlan Spry backed him up with 15. Noah Clarke was the pick of the Heat bowlers, claiming two wickets. The Heat's major run scorers ere Riley Sillis who made 22, Josh Tapprell 20 and Abdurehman Syed 19. Kobi Nancarrow and Nate Kember both picked up three wickets and Lachlan Spry two wickets.
The Renegades batsmen gave their team an edge over the Sixers hitting up a winning score of 5/143 against the Sixers 8/79. Amitoj Singh was again a major contributor with 32 runs. Thomas Bray also did a good job in making 26 runs and Meshw Patel made 21.
Brad Whitworth bowled well to finish with three wickets and Alec Brady gave good support to secure two wickets. Brad and Alec also contributed the bulk of the Sixers runs. Brad finished with 24 and Alec 23. Deen DeBortoli made a useful 11.
Thomas Bray led the Renegades bowling attack, capturing three wickets. Kitty Maher and Amitoj Singh were also effective in taking two wickets each.
The Scorchers handy score of 4/117 proved too much for the Hurricanes who struggled to 13/78. Josh Pentony had another good day, hitting 23, Mason Caughey made 21. Harrison Palmer 16 and Curtis Carlon 15. The Hurricane bowlers shared the wickets, Vivek Gullipalli, Megh Chaudhari, Matilda Molloy and Reif Leach all took a wicket, Reif also top sored for the Hurricanes with 25 runs.
Connor Dawson helped the score along with his 17. The Scorchers bowlers were best served by Mason Caughey with his three wicket effort and Josh and Jack Penton who both took two wickets.
The award for this weeks Cricketer goes to Thomas Bray for his 26 runs and three wickets for the Renegades.
