Griffith batted first and after a sound start from Seamus Maley and Harry Morel, wickets fell steadily and at 5/34 the innings looked extremely shaky.
However, a partnership of 27 between Jai Kenny (17) and Tomas Gorigolzarri (7) gave a glimmer of hope. A handy contribution from Christian Dallest helped the score along to a final total of 85.
Wagga's innings was in trouble from the start with opening bowlers Christian Dallest and Owen Robinson, followed up by Tomas Gorigolzarri had the Wagga innings in tatters at 7/17.
There was a mini revival which took the score to 8/32 but eventually Wagga succumbed to be all out for 48.
Christian Dallest finished with 3/4 off five overs, Owen Robinson 3/3 off four overs and Tomas Gongolzarri 2/7 off four overs in a fine bowling effort backed up by some good fielding.
