Locally born Joe Agresta will be launching his new book 'Trackrider - my life with Bart' on Thursday, December 5, at 5.30pm.
Trackrider is an ode to one of the sport's most enduring partnerships and is an intimate look at Joe's career and his life with one of horse racing's greats.
Come along and listen to Joe's incredible life stories and enjoy some free nibbles.
Storytime
Storytime is always a favorite, but December 6 it will be even more special with local author Caroline Tuohey joining us to read her new children's book 'The Christmas Garden' just in time for Christmas.
Theatrette
Our new theatrette is up and running with monthly movie screenings. In December we will be celebrating '12 Days of Christmas' and showing a movie everyday at 2pm starting on December 9 through to December 24. Contact the library for the upcoming movie titles.
Gift giving
Be Santa for a Senior by giving to the Meals on Wheels Tree of Life. The gifts will go to Meals on Wheels members.
Place your gift under the tree located at the library or at The Yambil Hub. Gift ideas include personal care items, tea or coffee cups, biscuits, chocolates, vouchers and hampers.
Visit wrl.nsw.gov.au for more details or call the library on 6962 8300.
