The Coleambally Nomads were able to jump into top spot after a convincing win over Leagues Panthers.

Teao Woetai (17) and Teei Piawi (10) were the only Panthers batsmen to break double digits as their batting woes continued from last weekend.

Jack Weymouth-Smith (4/19) proving difficult to deal with while Sam Breed (2/22), Neil Burke (2/6) and Luke Dawber (2/1) picked up two wickets each to see the Panthers bowled out for 60.

The Panthers could have thought there were in with a shot as Piawi (2/17) claimed the wickets of Sri Puram (1) and Cooper Smith (0) to have the Nomads sitting on 2/2.

Weymouth-Smith (38*) backed up his performance with the ball to help guide his side to a six-wicket win with just 12 overs bowled.

It was a high scoring affair when Exies Eagles took on Exies Diggers at Exies No 2.

It was a father-son combination at the top of the order for the Eagles with Peter and Josh Davis getting their side off to a strong start with an opening stand of 53 before Josh (23) was trapped leg before wicket.

Peter Davis (84) continued to put runs on the board as he posted a half-century while Bradyn Challis (22), Gavin Woods (27) and Jimmy Mann (14) help the Eagles finish with 6/185 off 40 overs.

While Diggers lost Brian Corner (10) fell to the bowling of Adam Waide (1/31) but Brendan Wade was able to steady his side's innings.

Wade (55) and Paresh Patil (55*) both posted fifties while Damien Browning (37*) helped his side pass the total with seven wickets in hand and 8.5 overs remaining.

In the final game of the round, Coro was able to hold on to take a 16-run win over Hanwood.

While Jake Rand (3) fell early to the bowling of Zac Ruediger (1/29), Matt Signor and Peter Taprell were able to get their side's innings back on track with a 64-run stand before Taprell fell to Gulfam Ahmed (2/30)

Signor (51) kept up the scoring ticking despite wickets falling around him with Dean Robertson (10) and Mark Bennett (11) posting double digits to see Coro close out their 40 overs on 7/145.

Jordan Whitworth (26) helped Hanwood make a strong start while Luke Catanzariti (14) and Jamie Whitworth (28) chipped away in the middle order, but the bowling of Andrew Potter (3/22) kept the pressure on Hanwood.

Ricky-John Sivewright (14*) gave his side a chance however when the final wicket fell with the score on 129 it gave Coro the win and joint second spot on the table.
