The attendant had just locked the doors of the Banna Avenue store before closing at around 9.50pm on Friday.
As he was mopping the floor, a man wearing a dark hoodie and sunglasses motioned for the doors to be opened.

The attendant refused, and the man pulled out and brandished what appeared to be a kitchen knife.
When the doors remained locked, and he headed off towards Olympic Street.
