Family owned engineering firm A&G Engineering have won the Australian Stainless Steel Development Association (ASSDA) Fabricator Project of the Year for their involvement in the Weilong Wines project.
The company's CEO Tom Gallagher said they were "incredibly proud" of this achievement, which included the fabrication of the vessels was spread across A&G's three workshops including Griffith.
"A lot of effort was put in over an extended period by all of our staff, and to win an award such as this is great for our team.
"We are delighted to have been recognised by ASSDA and are incredibly proud to be a significant contributor to the construction of a technologically-advanced, modern winery, with state-of-the-art stainless steel equipment and infrastructure."
Weilong Wines is a new 26,000 tonne capacity winery in Victoria.
As an ASSDA Member and Accredited Fabricator, they designed, manufactured, delivered and installed all of these stainless steel storage and processing vessels for the new winery.

It is the first Australian winery development of its size and scale in years, and they say the company's investment in the Murray-Darling region is "a testament to their confidence in the industry".
In excess of 800 tonnes of A&G stainless steel was used to manufacture 180 tanks.
