The latest report shows that pokies in Griffith clubs made $9 million in net profit over six months, far out-stripping gamblers in bigger cities on a per-capita basis.
Albury clubs only took in a net profit of $6 million, even though its population is twice the size of Griffith's.
Wagga Wagga, which is bigger still, fell just short of Griffith with $8.9 million in net pokie profits.
The combined profits of Carrathool Shire, Balranald, and Central Darling only managed to rake in $6.9 million.
Meanwhile, Leeton and Murrumbidgee Shire only pulled together $2.2 million between them.
The figures show an overall decline in gambling profits across NSW, with 548 fewer pokie machines compared to last year.
However Griffith is bucking the trend, with gambling losses on the rise compared with last year's figures.
The figures cover the period from December 2018 to June 2019.
Gambling losses are expected to climb even higher as we head into Christmas, since pokie profits are historically higher in the second half of each calendar year.
