Hundreds flocked to the park for a night of Xtreem partying, featuring music from the most talented up-and-coming artists in the region.
Aduny "AKIB" Takele rocked the crowd with his new and improved sound and Triple J Unearthed sensation Harry Catanzariti played beats so fresh that he only came up with them the night before.
Hillston celebrity Harriet Kelly sang a medley of classics and rapper Dwayne Broome gave visitors a crash course in the art of mixing beats.
Little Big Band took to the stage and played jazz so smooth that listeners were melting into their bean bag chairs.
Griffith Regional Theatre manager Raina Savage said she was proud of the performers, and prouder still of the pool of local talent bubbling away in the region.
"My Fest Murrumbidgee Youth Xtreem Arts Festival is all about young people and promoting young local talent," Ms Savage said.
"We're about creating a pathway for young people, creating serious opportunities for them to be on stage on a professional stage with professional crew supporting them."
In the afternoon scattered bursts of rain sent party-goers scurrying back and forth between shelters, but come nightfall the skies had cleared and the party was back in full swing.
Teenagers were tapping their toes and younger children could be seen running around and performing Fortnite dances to the tune of the music.
Party-goers were kept well fed and watered with food and drink stalls including the Hit FM coffee van, Ting's Bubble Tea, Carevan Sausage Sizzle, Tato Tornado and Direct Injection Donuts.
There was also a chill-out chai tent, Indian Henna painting, music production workshop, and volunteers handing out armfuls of free stuff.
The festival ended with a fiery finale featuring Xcite and Dauntless Movement Crew, who lit up the night with a dazzling fire and parkour show.
Sparks flew and flames roared as the crew performed death-defying stunts of epic acrobatics while encouraging the audience to take selfies.
The festivities continued the next day, with the Dauntless Movement Crew teaching a parkour, BMX, and skateboard workshop at the skate park.
