Organiser and local NRL legend Andrew Lavaka said the day was a good chance to kick a footy and learn about different cultural groups that make up Griffith's teams.
"NRL is not just a sport, it's also a great way to bring us together," Mr Lavaka said.
"Our whole core message is about bringing people together, and that's what today is all about."
The day was helped along by volunteers from Griffith Aboriginal Medical Service and Clontarf Academy, who have always been stalwart supporters of the NRL Multicultural Day.
