Visitors came from far and wide to try Griffith's famous "Paella by the Sculptures", which attracted queues so long they were positively Soviet.
Party-goers had a spring in their step as they pranced merrily from wine stall, to donut van, to the wine stall, to the paella queue, and then back to the wine stall again.
Across the road children's minds were blown by the citrus sculptures, including the orange pumpkin carriage, the orange chicken, and the orange orange-juice box.

The party set the tone for Griffith Spring Fest, a two-week period of non-stop merrymaking that includes everything from garden tours, to multicultural festivals, to an "extreme" youth festival. More information about the spring fest can be found at the Visitor's Information Centre.
