Yenda firefighter Gavin Raccanello is launching Griffith's first 'Man Walk', which is a chance for blokes to walk, talk, and support each other during the tough times.

"Mental health issues are prevalent in this community, especially with the drought," Mr Raccanello said.
"It's important that we talk to each other, because that's something blokes don't do enough of."
After participating in the original Man Walk in Kiama he was inspired to bring the event to Griffith so that guys could have a space to support one another and put an end to social isolation.

The first Man Walk will start at 6am on November 23 at the big Bertoldo's next to the NAB.
It will be a light 45 minute walk around Griffith and will be held every Saturday from 6am, rain, hail, or shine.
The Man Walk is free, and those interested in joining can head to 'The Man Walk - Griffith' Facebook page or just turn up on the day.
The exact walking route will be updated on the group's Facebook page.
