The Demons managed to get two wins during the opening weekend of MIA Basketball League action, propelling themselves to the top of the table.
Their league position has shown that Griffith are one again a force to be reckoned with. A point they are hoping to prove against a slow-starting Narrandera outfit.
Demons coach Arch Cullen is particularly confident in his side and their dominant offensive tactics.
"Everyone scored except for one player on the weekend," Cullen explained.
"We're now hoping to beat Narrandera by a convincing margin."
Griffith dominated Leeton 89 to 64 in their first round of the competition.
That result coming after Leeton defeated Narrandera 48 to 46 in a closely fought contest.
"Leeton was a very good game for us, especially being the opener," Cullen said.
"The game wasn't a real reflection of Leeton's ability, we just banded together, held a good defence, and then moving into the end of the second quarter we started going to town from the three point line."
Demons' youngster Isaac Testoni contributed 34 points in that game, and 55 across both matches.
The young players within the Griffith squad have settled in well, according to Arch Cullen. The inexperienced banding together to create the core of the side, while the seniors within the mix steady the ship.
"The game is so much about offense these days," Cullen explained.
"When the players buy into the tactics, it makes the job of coaching easy."
Despite the Demons missing a number of key players heading into their second match, they managed to clinch a victory right at the death against West Wyalong.
The 84 to 78 spectacle served as a testament to the grit and persistence of the side, as they overcame a 20 point deficit to win the game.
With two wins under their belt in this impressive start to the new MIA Basketball League season, the Demons are now shifting their focus to winning the game against Narrandera.
