The Murrumbidgee side was able to pick up two wins in their opening Twenty20 matches against Greater Southern Marlins and ACT/SD Kings.
In the opening game against the Marlins, Griffith's Noah Gaske (1/22) picked up a wicket with the Marlins setting the Murrumbidgee side a target of 128 off 20 overs.
Forner (62) and Hay's Tom Davies (23) got their side off to a flying start with a partnership of 97 before three quick wickets put them on the back foot, but they were able to regain their footing to pick up a six-wicket win.
The Murrumbidgee side continued their form in the second game and after restricting the Kings to 105 off 20 overs.
It was little trouble for the Murrumbidgee side with Signor (61*) and Leeton's Blake McDonald (38*) guided their side to a 10-wicket win with 19 balls to spare.
Meanwhile, the under 13's side picked up a win and a loss from day one.
