Eleven of the talented Griffith footballers have been selected to represent Riverina this week at the Football NSW State Titles at Valentines Sports Park in Sydney.

In a showing of dedication, the best six 12-year-old boys & five 12 & 14-year-old girls have been travelling to Wagga since May to train with their Country Riverina teams made up of Wagga & Albury's finest to prepare for this competition.
Lucas Piva, Christian Callcut, Dane O'Connor, James Dal Broi, Stefan Donadel, William De Bortoli, Arnika Jasnos, Zoe Sergi, Bethany Piva, Elizabeth Romeo and Mischa Northeast will be flying the Griffith Football flag at the week-long event.
They have played against Sydney Metro-North, South, East, West, Far North, Far South, Emerging Jets, Country Southern & Country Western.
From this tournament, these 11 children are hoping for some good results as well as being selected to trial for the Country NSW team in 2020 to take part in the National Youth Championship.
