Multicultural Festival of Griffith is held in the heart of the town in Memorial Park and is easy to get to.
It will start with the flag parade which is open for anyone to participate in.
You are welcome to carry a flag depicting your country of origin or take any other flag and be part of the parade.
In the future we will be working towards a street parade.
The festival will bring together a multitude of cultures and displays featuraing Griffith's diverse communities.
Come and be part of this year's festival and experience the food, colours and sounds.
GRIFFIN PLAZA MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL WEEK, OCTOBER 14-18
The Multicultural Council has partnered with Griffin Plaza leading up to the festival to put on a Multicultural Festival Week with performances from schools.
The schools that are going to be performing are: Griffith Public School, Murrumbidgee Regional High School, Marian College, Hanwood Public School and Griffith North Public School.
Go along to Griffin Plaza around lunch time to experience the performances and festivities leading up to the festival.

Update: With help, encouragement and support from the community and Multicultural NSW we are getting closer to finding an office for the Multicultural Council. More to come.
NRL CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT DAY, OCTOBER 24
A few days after the multicultural festival we will be participating with the NRL in a cultural development day.
Our support will be via cultural awareness and education.
This day we believe will enhance the students' education by experiencing real time cultural involvement.
