Personal trainer Janine Fabris has created the 'Warrior Program', a new regime which is aimed exclusively at those who have suffered from cancer.
Ms Fabris was given three months to live when diagnosed with an aggressive form of liver cancer in 2012 before being diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2013.
She said the program was created to restore a sense of routine and control to individuals.
"When you get diagnosed with cancer it's like you have to give your body over to the doctors, to the specialists," Ms Fabris said.
"You lose your control of whats going on. You have to go through treatment, you have to go through surgeries.
"A lot of people, and I felt it myself... they get upset because they finish their treatment and they're like; 'what happens now?'
"A lot of people really struggle especially after chemotherapy with losing weight, it's a big issue because it just mucks with the body, nothings the same for a long time."
Ms Fabris said she intends to run the program face-to-face with individuals and small groups, creating specific routines and training methods to assist those who have lost strength in crucial areas regain their abilities and help to reduce some of the side effects of cancer treatments.
"When you've had - for example a liver resection or a resection of the body - that weakens that natural fascia of the body," Ms Fabris said.
"So there is certain exercises you shouldn't do because you're prone to herniate.
"I've learnt through training myself... that I can still work those muscles but I work it in a different way."

The program is planned to run alongside Ms Fabris' commitments to her other training clients but she said the uniqueness of the program has already seen people from the wider area voice their interest in signing up.
"There's such a calling for it," she said.
"All my specialists said, 'there's nobody in this whole area that does anything like that.'
"That's the thing, to give something back and help people."
The program will be run at Griffith's LiveFit gym on Wakaden Street - but Ms Fabris said the program is run by her and not run by the gym itself - and plans to kick off on October 14.
Those looking for more information regarding the program can contact Janine Fabris on 0488 946 347.
