The development application passed unanimously through council, however the police will have the final say as to whether or not it gets green lit.
Police have privately submitted their objections to council, however they declined to publically reveal what the precise nature of those objections are.

Aside from the police objection the proposal has ticked all boxes with council and has received no further objections from WorkCover or any of the nearby properties in the area.
The warehouse is currently vacant and sits in a relatively isolated property near the intersection of Barracks Road and Cremasco Road close to the winery.
If the police decide to give the go-ahead it will be used to store ammunition which will then be sold and distributed wholesale to gun clubs and retailers locally and nationally.
Information about the development application can be found on the Griffith City Council website.
