The competition marks an important and historic structural reform to junior pathways throughout the state.
Newly appointed Senior Manager, Cricket, Darren Goodger said the championships clarified the pathway to higher levels for all participants.
"The inaugural season of the Cricket NSW Youth Championships provide wonderful opportunities for players, coaches and umpires to experience representative cricket," said Goodger.
"The response among the cricket community across the state has been most positive to this exciting new concept."
The Youth Championships establish a state-wide junior representative competition streamlining the Cricket NSW Pathway for underage players towards state and international cricket.
The nine Griffith cricketers alongside three from Hay and two from Leeton will come together and join with other players from around Northern Riverina to play under the Murrumbidgee banner at under 15s, 14s and 13s levels.
The under 14s will get their three day carnival underway with a showdown with Greater Southern Marlins on Sunday while the under 15s and under 13s start their campaign against the same opposition on October 2.
