It's a day when people stopped to ask their friends and loved ones to open up about their mental health.

The day kicked off with an R U OK breakfast, which drew a crowd of over 200 people.
The money raised will go to R U OK benches in schools around the district to give kids a place they can sit and support each other through the tough times.
Most of the schools around the district already have one of these benches, but the organisers say they won't rest until each school has one.
