The event is being held by Yenda Fire and Rescue NSW captain Gavin Raccanello, who will be among the first to be drenched. Mr Raccanello is raising money in the lead up to the Firies Climb for MND fundraiser, where he will climb the entire Sydney Eye Tower while wearing 20 kilograms of firefighting gear.
"It will be a hard task, but nothing compared to what the sufferers of MND have to endure every day of their lives," Mr Raccanello said.
