New season trade lambs sold from $150 to $210/head, averaging 920c/kg. Old trade weights were $17 cheaper, making from $152 to $195/head, to average 830c/kg.
Heavy lambs eased from $20 to $25, with lambs to 26kg selling from $196 to $229, while heavy weights made from $241 to $294/head.
Merino trade weights sold from $151 to $172 and heavy weights made to $225/head. Mutton numbers eased and the quality was good, with prices remaining close to firm.
Medium weight ewes sold from $112 to $145/head. Heavy crossbreds made to $194, with Merino ewes selling to $180/head. Wethers sold to $205/head, to average from 600c to 660c/kg cwt.
