While the game is almost in the outback of NSW, given fine weather there is sure to be a very big crowd when the referee blows time on tomorrow.
The Rabbitohs were first into the grand final after turning back Narrandera 26-10 while in last Saturday's preliminary final at the Yanco Sportsground, the Lizards finished to strongly for Rankins Springs winning 28-18 and book their place in the grand final.
With its seven wins and no loss record this season, Goolgowi will go into tomorrow's decider full of confidence and with the fortnights rest plus no injury worries, the minor premiers should bounce out full of running.
On the other hand, if Narrandera can put on a couple of tries in the early part of the game their confidence will be sky high and will be tough to run down especially with a backline which is loaded with speed and the Lizards may just shade Goolgowi out wide and in utility D'Andre Williams, they have arguably the quickest player in the competition.
Narrandera's two centres Wade Williams and Jamain Morgan are no slouches either and if they break away they will take some rounding up. In five-eighth Gary Ingram who along with Troy Prior is the perfect general and he will make sure those outside him get every chance to strut their stuff.
Goolgowi's forwards have been the stumbling block for other teams all season and you can bet they will be on song on Saturday. Lock and co-coach Alex Brown, prop Nick Johnson, hooker Laurie Sandford and second rower Nathan Sanders are all at the top of their game and no doubt this is where they will try and control the contest.
If the Rabbitohs can do that it will bring the likes of co-coach John Michael Cahill, his goal kicking partner Billy Hale, John Fallon and Brad Turner into proceedings.
Who will finish as the 2019 ProTen champs,I'm not sure, all I know is that it will be a great game of rugby league. The grand final will kick off at around 2pm.
