A hat-trick to Amy Burgess and a goal each to Melinda Foschi and Sarah Taylor gave the Crusaders a 5-3 win with Erin Bonetti scoring three goals for M2BM Coronations.
Meanwhile, in the first of the double-header on Sunday at Hanwood Oval, YFC Wanderers extended their lead at the top to four points with a 7-1 victory over Hanwood United.
In the second game at Hanwood Oval saw the Yenda Tigers able to keep pace with the top of the table after picking up a 6-0 win over Hanwood Hurricanes.
Yenda Tigers will have the chance to close the gap this weekend when they take on Coro Crushers with the YFC Wanderers having the bye meaning they won't pick up any points this weekend.
In the other games, it will be a double-header at Coro Club Oval with Coro Crusaders taking on Hanwood United while HFC Hurricanes take on M2BM Coronations.
