We're honoured to be the first stop on his book tour. Tony grew up in Sydney's western suburbs and for two decades, he and his wife have divided their time between Australia and their home bordering Kruger National Park in South Africa. Tony's fascination with Africa has sparked the inspiration for each of his novels.
"In a day you come across enough stories to fill up books for the rest of your life," Tony said.
Don't miss this exciting launch on Saturday July 27 at 10am to hear Tony speak about his career, travel, love of Africa and writing. Bookings can be made through our Eventbrite page.
Another fabulous author re-visiting the Library is Jeremy Lachlan, here in August to discuss his successful novel, Jane Doe and the Cradle of All Worlds plus the upcoming sequel. All local primary schools have been invited to participate in the event where children will dress up as their favourite characters to celebrate the value of literature in our modern world.
For this event Banna Avenue will have limited access and parking on August 21. Please call the Library, visit our website or Facebook page for road closure details.
Community members are invited to help celebrate the national event by cheering the students along.
