The under 16s side were the big winners on the weekend as they picked up a big 6-1 win over the ninth-placed Canberra Olympic side.
Ryan Zanatta was able to find the back of the net in the first half before the visiting side struck back to see the game level at the halftime interval.
Joonas McDermott scored a second-half hat-trick while Chaise Donetto and Kolby Seers hit the back of the net to help the Rhinos stay within seven points of first place.
It was a tight game in the under 18s, but the Rhinos were able to stay one-point behind top spot with a 2-1 win over Canberra Olympic.
Gary Catanzariti scored in the first half before the Canberra side pulled level heading into the break however with the visiting side reduced to 10-men, a goal to Josh Keenan helped the Rhinos picked up the three points with a late goal.
With a gap developing between the second placed Riverina side and the first placed Belconnen United, the three points were crucial for the Rhinos.
A goal each to Mohammad Fayazi and Christian Codemo helped the Rhinos to a 2-0 victory over Canberra Olympic to maintain the seven-point gap between first and second.
Meanwhile, the Rhinos missed a chance to close the gap on top spot in the under 13s after a goalless draw against Olympic.
The Rhinos are now sitting 11 points behind the first placed Monaro Panthers in the youngest age group.
