The front rower has had a great year playing women' rugby league as she has been a critical member in the Riverina Bulls side who took out the inaugural CRL Women's Country Championship.
From there she was selected in the NSW Country side who came second at the National Championships and then made the NSW Women's State of Origin team.
Dragons coach Daniel Lacey said it was these performances which caught his eye.
"Seeing Takilele play for Riverina in the Country Rugby League competition, she was the best forward on the paddock for every one of their game," he said.
"ff the back of that she was given the opportunity to represent NSW Country where she shined and now in the Origin team, so it's really great to sign a girl at the top of her game."
