Grabbing a garden hose and tackling a house fire before the professionals arrived, one man has helped extinguish a fire on Field Place on Tuesday afternoon.

He was in action while the whole host of emergency services turned up to the house fire.
The call-out and were on scene at 1.37pm, with four NSW Fire and Rescue trucks, Rural Fire Service, police, ambulance as well as Origin Energy arriving on scene.
According to a NSW Fire and Service spokeswoman said white smoke was coming from the single story house, and crews made entry through one of the sides decked out in full breathing apparatus.
The power and gas were turned off, and all people were accounted for.
A primary search was conducted over the property and the all clear was given.
The fire was contained and crews went through to vent it to make sure they were extinguished completely.
The site was handed over to police with investigations continuing to ascertain the cause of the fire.
They spoke to the man helping out, who told police he was just passing by the house at the time.
