He'll be playing two of the major roles in the show, one of them being the role of Kyle Brendan O'Boyle, an attractive delivery man with an impressive package.
It's a role Mr Hanlon was born to play, even if he denies it out of sheer modesty.
"I wouldn't call myself a confident or sexy man whatsoever, so I feel this role is well out of my comfort zone," he said.
He'll also be playing an American frat boy, an 80s-style aerobics dancer, and a singlet-wearing American redneck.
"It's great to see people's reactions when I play such out-there characters," Mr Hanlon said.
"It's really good to be able to go between both extremes and experiment."
He's got an incredible range as an actor, which is a skill he's honed ever since he caught the passion for acting back in Year 9 drama class at Leeton High School.
Since then he's been a singing, dancing, acting all-star in many of Leeton High School's plays and Griffith Regional Theatre's community musicals.
It's been a lot of hard work, but each show takes him a step closer to achieving his dream of becoming a professional performer.
It's been an aspiration of his ever since Year 12, when he acted out a piece he wrote himself for his HSC drama major project.
"Back then I thought to myself 'this feels really good - this is something I want to keep doing'," he said.
He's currently on his third gap year, working to raise money so he can go to university and continue honing his skills as a performer.
Acting is his specialty, but he's a man of many talents including singing, dancing, and even creative writing.
"The whole creative sphere, I love it all," he said.
"It makes me feel good to create things and try to bring it to life."
The only thing he says he's not good at is skipping rope - and there's plenty of that in Legally Blonde the musical.
He's been practicing skipping at home, and he proudly wears the "battle scars" he's gotten from accidentally whipping himself across the legs with the rope.
But the improvement he's made over the weeks has been palpable, and now he can add skipping to his lengthy list of talents.
He'll be skipping, singing, dancing, and generally dazzling the audience on June 5, which is when Legally Blonde will be holding its first show.
There'll be a total of ten performances, the last one being on June 15.
Tickets are available at the Griffith Regional Theatre's front desk and on their website.
