Coach Ross Marando said his boys have been ready to go for the last couple of weeks so it will be good to finally take to the field.
"It has been a long preseason for the boys," he said.
"We have been going since January, so they are ready to get out there and play."
The Yoogali side will be heading into this season with the same core of players as last season, and Marando is hopeful this will be the start of a dynasty.
"There are a couple of 22 and, and then the rest are under 19," he said.
"It means the likes of myself won't be needed to play this season. Hopefully, this will be the core for the next few seasons and hopefully can take us back to the top."
There is plenty of club passion in the coaching ranks with Marando co-coaching with brother Rocky.
"We have been at the club for a while now, and our main goal is to get the club back to the top of the standings," he said.
The game between Yoogali FC and West Griffith will get underway at 3pm out at Yellowtail Park with the reserve grade game between Yoogali FC and Deniliquin starting at 1pm.
