The Sharks were able to hit the scoreboard first with Nathan Morris getting across the line before a quick levelling try from the Hawks.
The Yanco side gained the momentum from that point with Josh Higgins, Kane Hammond and Harry Daudravuni giving the Hawks a 24-6 lead.
Alan Dutchie Thomas Ahyuk was able to get a try back for the Sharks before Ben Watts and Daudravuni got across to give the Hawks a 32-12 lead at the break.
Andrew Smith got the Hawks off to a flying start in the second half with a try inside the first two minutes of play getting back underway.
TLU hit back with Jaden Kelly scoring twice while Ethan Williams got across once in the space on eight minutes to give the Sharks a slight hope of a comeback as they trailed by 14 points with 19 minutes remaining.
Hammond scored his second of the game to rescue the Hawks from their side before Troy Preston sealed the win with a try in the 79th minutes to wrap up the 24-point victory.
The Yanco-Wamoon side will now return home to take on Hay next weekend while TLU has the bye ahead of a clash with the Magpies as the search for their first win of the season.
