Things are looking up for the station, which is in better financial shape than it has been in many years.
Over the last year they've managed to double the amount of sponsorships and scored $20,000 in grants, which has allowed them to start fixing the ramshackle building and buy some swanky new equipment.
The station now boasts shiny new microphones, amps, speakers, a mixing console and transmission equipment for their broadcast van.
Treasurer secretary Lynda Lane said the station's books were looking a lot greener than they have been in a long time.
"We're looking very healthy this year," Ms Lane said.
"We're growing stronger, the admin quality is high, and we're really ticking boxes."

The station has also seen an influx of volunteers in recent times and they now have more presenters, a wider selection of music, and more live broadcasting than ever before in 2MIA's history.
2MIA president Dolf Murwood said the future was bright, and he was positive the new board would take the station from strength to strength.
"We have an amazing board now," Mr Murwood said.
"It's not just the board; all the people that are involved in this station are amazing people."
Mr Murwood said there was still a lot of work ahead of them, but he was confident the new board would be able to tackle any challenge ahead of them.
The new board consists of Dolf Murwood, Lynda Lane, Kim Callaghan, John Lariva, Scott Grinly, and Gayle Schulz, most of whom present their own shows.
As a community radio station, 2MIA relies on volunteers, sponsorships from local businesses, and donations.
