Unexplained smoke put an unexpected halt to Legally Blonde rehearsals at Griffith Regional Theatre on Sunday afternoon.

Members of the cast notice the smoke around 4.00pm, and called 000 after being unable to find the source.
The building was evacuated and Fire and Rescue crews came to investigate.
While they saw the smoke lingering around, Deputy Captain Aaron Hoad said there was no threat to anyone inside or out.

"We've done our investigation and we believe it was something mechanical causing the smoke," he said.
