McBride was playing in a single stroke last Saturday.
The event was also the qualifier for the Caltex Handicap Match Play, with 16 players to qualify.
Tuiru Phillip (68 nett, 77 off the stick) won A Grade ahead of Travis Payne (76/67 nett), draining birdies on the 9th and 13th.
B Grade winner was Brian Grandi (66 nett, shooting 80) nailing birdies on the 3rd and 18th.
Brad Hillyer (67 nett) won C Grade ahead of Alan LeBroque (69 nett).
Pro Pins were won by John Harrison and Ngarau Noa. Par Threes: 4th Justin Robertson; 7th Wayne Alpen; 11th Don Hillam; 16th Tony McBride.
Vouchers went to 72 nett.
The qualifiers for the match play, to be completed by March 23, were: T. Phillip v T. Mahar; G.. Hartnett v J. Dalton; R. Salvestro v A. Smith; S. Ranney v A. LeBroque; I. Arstall v L. Kidd; B. Lemon v J. Badoco; A. Franchi v D. Hillam; M. Rummings v B. Grandi.
JUNIORS
Sunday's event was a two-person ambrose, won by Jason Magoci and Col Vearing (60 nett) from Andrew Romagnolo and Justin Robertson (62.5 nett).
Michael Catanzariti won the 7th pin; Terry Bennett 16th. Vouchers went to 65 nett.
Sunday morning's junior golf competition continues at 9.30am. with 3, 6 and 9 holes depending on age. All gear is provided free.
Prior to the Pro Am on Sunday, March 24, a junior clinic willl be conducted by PGA tour player Paul Gow.
The clinic is free, with all equipment supplied.

PRO AM
The B & C Plumbing Charity Pro Am is on Monday, March 25.
Amateur entries are now open; contact the Pro Shop. Special guests include Gow, retired jockey Jim Cassidy and Hawthorn legend Robert Diperdomenico.
The Suicide Prevention and Support Group is the nominated charity.
This week's events are all single stablefords, with Saturday also the St. Patrick's Day board event.
VETERANS
The veterans played a single stableford last Thursday.
Jim Dickie (38 points) won 0-18 grade; David Woodside (36 points) was second. Graeme Gifford (35 points) won 1-36 Grade from Keith Woodbridge (34 points).
Pins to: 4th Allan King; 8th Byron James; 15th John F. Gale. Vouchers to 32 points.
Another single stableford will be played this week.
Unfinancial veterans will be excluded from competitions.
A two-grade single stableford was played last Wednesday.
Derek Langford (40 points) won 0-18 from John Brennick (37 points).
Peter Den Houting (36 points) won 19-36; Steve Lightfoot (35 points) was second. Vouchers went to 34 points.
