A meeting of motorheads from Griffith, Leeton and West Wylong raised money for motor neurone disease at the Griffith Expatiates Auto Club Coffee and Cars.

The event was held at Griffith Leagues Club and was meet up for classic and custom car enthusiasts made open to the public.
Expatriates event organizer Sharon Brown said there were over 50 cars on show, and 15 classic motorcycles displayed.

The money was raised for the Griffith's Motor Neurone Disease Support Group with delegates from Leeton's MIA Cruisers and West Wylong's Western Wheeler's Car Club also attending.
"The support group couldn't believe the money was raised from mostly sausage sizzle and drink sales," Mrs Brown said.
Mrs Brown said that among the many crowd pleasers parked at the Leagues Club on Saturday the two cars which drew the most attention were a couple of vintage rat-rods.
According to Mrs Brown one of the owners of the rods is currently taking their contraption over to the Lake Gairdner Salt Flats in South Australia to compete in the 29th Annual Speed Week.
"We had a good dozen American muscle cars which are always a good crowd pleaser," Mrs Brown said.
Mrs Brown said the event was able to raise $1,608 for the Support Group.
"This is our fifth (event) since we started the club just over a year ago and we have already raised over $9000 for local charities."
For those who missed last week's show, the Expatriates will be raising money for charity again this weekend this time displaying their cars at the Goolgowi Rabbitohs Lets Get Levi Better: 6-A-Side.
The event is raising money for six year old Levi Andreazza who has been diagnosed with Wiskott–Aldrich syndrome.
The event will be held at 9am at the Goolgowi Recreation Ground.
