Harmony Day is coming up fast, on March 23, Memorial Park, 11am to 2pm and members of the community are planning an array of foods to share along with some entertainment.
Keeping in mind that Harmony Day is not a festival but rather an annual celebration across Australia with a fixed date being March 21, however, a few days either side is able to be celebrated.
Anyone come along and share and be part of the day. It is about community participation, inclusiveness, celebrating diversity, respect and belonging.
Talking about festivals, the Multicultural Festival 2019 date is October 19, this year, more to come.
