Ms Grieg believes laneway access, a footpath, a bus stop and lighting is needed on Walla Avenue to prevent another tragedy like the pedestrian who was killed while walking on the road in 2017.
Ms Grieg also believes a lack of lighting infrastructure is encouraging anti-social behavior and graffiti.
"My daughters house (near Heath Crescent) was robbed in November 2018 the lack of lighting leaves people very vulnerable because it's so dark," Ms Grieg said.
In Februray, FACS announced that they have allocated funding to provide three new projects through the Pioneer Core Action Group (PCAG).

This includes installing a shelter at Dave Taylor Park with a table, chairs and a rubbish bins, as well as a graffiti removal program and a kerbside numbering program aimed at young people living in the estate on Heath Crescent.
FACS funds the PCAG which includes representatives of the Linking Communities Network, Griffith council, police, Western Riverina Community College and TAFE NSW.
A spokeswoman for FACS said since its founding the PCAG has helped improve the area through many projects aimed at eradicating bindies, repairing the suburb's irrigation system, and replacing basketball rings in Dave Taylor Park.
According to Ms Grieg however, "people don't want improvements in the park."
"People want basic infrastructure, there should be a footpath and pedestrian access along the road and to the Heath Crescent, council did all of Collina, the cemetery and the hospital but they seem to keep neglecting Pioneer," Ms Grieg said.
Regarding the lighting council's director of operations Phil King said new lighting would be FACS' job.
"The current lighting was installed by the Department of Housing when the subdivision was constructed, the lighting is owned by Essential Energy and council pays monthly towards the maintenance and energy costs of street lights," Mr King said.
"If Housing NSW wish to install additional lighting, council will provide technical advice in consultation with Essential Energy."
Mr King said council was not going to promote pedestrian access along the rear of properties facing Walla Avenue as council hasn't identified a need for a footpath on the south-eastern side of Walla Avenue under their pedestrian and bicycle strategy.
However, a shared path is proposed on the north-western side of Walla Avenue between Watson Road and Middleton Avenue.
Ms Grieg has also voiced her concerns for the safety of children crossing Walla Avenue every morning from the estates on Zirilli Avenue to catch the school bus.
According to Ms Grieg the youngsters living in the estates are having to stand on the side of the road reserve as they wait for the bus every morning.
While Ms Grieg says she would like to see a bus stop installed for the children along the road reserve Mr King said this would be impossible.
"There is insufficient storage space on the eastern side of Walla Avenue between the carriageway and drainage channel to accommodate both a bus shelter and a bus bay," Mr King said.
"The school bus travels south along Walla Avenue both morning and afternoon. If a bus shelter was installed in front of Zirilli Avenue (the western side of Walla) children would still have to cross Walla Avenue to get on and off the bus."
Ms Grieg said the fact that council has not included the south west community of Griffith in its Pedestrian and Bicycle Strategy will also be concerning for Murrumbidgee Regional High School, Griffith Public School, Kalinda School and the various group homes located in this area.
"I'm sure all parties involved with these facilities will love to know Griffith City Council has no intention of providing safe access for children, parents and people with disability," Ms Grieg said.
