Andrew Noad, 68 nett, won A Grade, firing 76 off the stick, 39 out and 37 home, pushing Wayne Alpen, also 68 nett, into second on a countback.
Alpen shot 80 and ousted Brett Polkinghorne, 68 nett, out of a place on a countback.
Ngarau Noa carded 66 nett and Noa drained birdies on the 7th and 15th shooting 83 scratch to take the win.
John Harrison, 68 nett, was runner-up firing 87.
Andrew Quade, 65 nett, 87 off the stick best in C Grade, nailing a birdie on the 11th over Grant Gyles, 91-69 nett, with four pars.
Pro Pins won by Tuiru Phillip and Jeff Wiscombe. Par Threes: 4th Luke DeValentin, 7th Ngarau Noa, 11th John Badoco, 16th Brett Angel.
Vouchers to 72 nett.
The Volkswagon Scramble qualifier attracted a field of 72 players in a Four Person Ambrose.
Leeton players Shane McInnes, Aaaron Leeson-Woolley, Peter Harrison and Matt Boots, 54 1/8 nett, scooped the pool ahead of Wal Trembath, Colin Barby,Bob Sanson and Mark Stenhouse, 55 3/8 nett.
Sim Tuitivake, Lama Lolotong, Tuiru Phillip and Ngarau Noa, 56 3/8 nett, filled third place.

THE Brady Painters Norm Saxvick Memorial Red Gum Plate qualifier is on Sunday, February 3.
The restriction of having played six competitions is on longer a prerequisite in a 4BBB stableford.
The Calcutta will be held on Thursday, February 7.
Players are reminded that the New Rule Changes are now in play.

The Club Board is implementing a new raft of memberships from March 1, which include golf $1200, paying for green fees. If you play over 60 games a year, money is saved.
There is also an introductory membership for one year only of $250.
There are also week day, weekend and full memberships - plus junior and cadet memberships are free.

THE Caltex 5s competition resumed on Monday, January 14 and the first round will be completed on Sunday, January 27 to give players time to organise their teams.
All this week’s competitions are single stablefords.

THE extreme heat on Thursday saw only 17 veterans turning out for a single stableford in one grade.
The winner was John Dalton 36 points, John F Gale, 35 points second on a countback, over Garry Purcell.
Pins: 4th Brad Faxcett, 8th Byron James, and 15th Skeet Milne.
Mike Hedditch, 34 points, won a voucher.
Only 18 players ventured out on a hot Wednesday.
Shane Gaffey, 38 points, won from John Badoco, 36 points ,on a countback over Albert Donadel.
