Eye witnesses to the incident reportedly saw a man and a women fleeing from a white Mazda CX3 after it failed to give way to a motorcyclist crashing into him at the intersection around 8pm on the evening of December 5.
The motorcyclist was a local Griffith man and was airlifted to St George Hospital in Sydney with a broken leg following the crash.
Of the two alleged hit and run suspects, police are especially interested in locating the driver who they believe was a Caucasian man of skinny build believed to be in his 30s and who was reportedly wearing a black t shirt at the time of the crash.
